Bus attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers while they are on board public transportation vehicles. They commonly work on buses, but may also be employed by other types of transit systems such as subways or ferries. Bus attendants have a wide range of responsibilities that vary depending on their employer and the type of vehicle they’re working on. In general, they are expected to ensure that all passengers are seated and secured properly before departure. They may also be tasked with answering any questions about the route or schedule, providing assistance to elderly or disabled passengers, and handling any emergencies that arise during the trip. Bus Attendant Job Duties Bus attendants typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include: Reporting any accidents or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities Reporting any unusual incidents, accidents, or injuries to the supervisor Collecting fare payments from passengers and providing change as needed Cleaning and disinfecting bus interiors between trips Issuing transfers to passengers to indicate that their fare has been paid for a transfer trip Reporting any problems with bus equipment to the transportation supervisor Monitor passenger behavior on board the bus to ensure passenger safety and comfort Providing information about schedules, stops, and destinations to passengers Making announcements about upcoming stops or delays to passengers SEND YOUR CV THROUGH MAIL ID – [email protected]
