Our British School in Silicon Oasis is looking for a School Bus Attendants who will usually found on school buses, where they assist and discipline students. Work duties usually seen on a Bus Attendant resume sample are greeting passengers, showing them to assigned seats, helping students with special needs, making sure students fasten their seat belts, and assisting bus drivers with various tasks. Required skills for this job are a clear speaking voice, being able to discipline students, supervisory skills, stamina, and attention to details. No formal education is required and most resumes in the field make display of a high school diploma or the equivalent. Responsibilities: Know the proper use of securing devices for safety restraints, wheelchairs and seat belts. Assist the driver in the proper loading and unloading of passengers. Maintain student discipline. Supervise and assist students in transit. Report any concerns regarding students to the driver and to the appropriate building staff. Know the school bus evacuation procedures and be physically capable to evacuate students in an emergency. Learn the bus route and provide route information that includes driver directions for the best way to reach a location, for a substitute or newly assigned bus driver.
