We are looking for a skilled and creative Restaurant Chef to oversee kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing kitchen staff, developing menus, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards while delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and present meals according to restaurant standards
Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
Develop and update menus with seasonal and cost-effective dishes
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency
Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager to meet customer expectations
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Leadership and team management skills
Creativity and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Culinary degree or professional training is an advantage
